Tf is adias?
Vinito (19 days ago)
It's not incorrect. like in English there's no need to call someone's with French accent if their name is French. It would be incorrect only if you're in France. In my opinion the only one which is wrong is porsche because that e at the end shouldn't be dropped and it's not an English word and does not follow English rules of dropping the 'e' at the end of words.
Luci Grace (19 days ago)
You said two of those wrong so...

Aaaarrrgh! Loewe is NOT Spanish! It is a German brand! And it’s pronounced [ˈløːvə], not [loˈeve] or anything like that!
UHF43 (21 days ago)
@ptener And sadly, the German Loewe is not making TV sets anymore. http://www.hiddenwires.co.uk/news/article/german-tv-brand-loewe-goes-bankrupt-and-due-to-shut-down-this-weekend
ptener (21 days ago)
OK, I got it: Loewe is a spanish fashion luxury brand, not to be confused with Loewe GmbH, a German TV set maker. I only knew the second one, before watching this video. Anyway, Loewe is a German name, and it means "lion".
Lu C (21 days ago)
@UHF43 oh I see, thank you! That's interesting, I wouldn't have thought so. So she was completely right all along :)
UHF43 (21 days ago)
@Lu C The Spanish alphabet has the w, but it is commonly used only in loanwords and ancient germanic names like Wenceslao.
UHF43 (21 days ago)
Loewe is a german word and that's why the w sounds as "b", but the brand is Spanish no matter what name it has. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loewe_(fashion_brand)

She's not annoying much....if she were chocolate, she would eat herself!

English with Lucy Get over yourself. This is exactly what I was saying. You know when you put yourself on a public forum, you have to be prepared to take criticsm. That also means that not everyone is going to like you or agree with you. I, for instance, do not like the way you conduct yourself and, considering I am the public, I am within my right to voice my opinion. You are also highly patronising and that is also irritating to me. However, I am positive there are many people who find you scintillating, dear unfortunately, I am not one of them. Now I do not wish to waste any more of my time justifying MY opinion to you. Sensitive people should avoid public demonstration in the event a percentage will disagree or dislike.
English with Lucy (22 days ago)
No I wouldn’t Sarah...I love myself too much to put chocolate in the temple that is my body. Maybe if I were kale I would eat myself.

Why we must pronounce Nike ['nai-ki] and not ['naik]?
@عمير الحبابي hahahahaha. In fact my name is Spanish. We pronounce our name like H in Arabish. [ha-'vier] because our "j" came from Otoman Empire. So it sounds like h in English and not like in French.
Jonnathan Javier Ardila Pineda i think -if i remember- a greek name for victory godess . So it’s [‘naiki], same as you pronounce your name xafyer instead of Djavyer ...
