From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
The film also stars Amber Heard (“Justice League,” “Magic Mike XXL”) as Mera, a fierce warrior and Aquaman’s ally throughout his journey; Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (“Platoon,” “Spider-Man 2”) as Vulko, council to the Atlantean throne; Patrick Wilson (“The Conjuring” films, “Watchmen”) as Orm/Ocean Master, the present King of Atlantis; Dolph Lundgren (“The Expendables” films) as Nereus, King of the Atlantean tribe Xebel; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Netflix’s “The Get Down”) as the vengeful Black Manta; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (“The Hours,” “Lion”) as Arthur’s mom, Atlanna; as well as Ludi Lin (“Power Rangers”) as Captain Murk, Atlantean Commando; and Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” “Green Lantern”) as Arthur’s dad, Tom Curry.
Wan directs from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (“The Conjuring 2”) and Will Beall (“Gangster Squad,” TV’s “Training Day”), story by Geoff Johns & James Wan and Will Beall, based on characters from DC, Aquaman created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger. The film is produced by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan, with Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Jon Berg, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada serving as executive producers.
Wan’s team behind the scenes includes such frequent collaborators as Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess (“The Conjuring 2,” “Forrest Gump”), his five-time editor Kirk Morri (“The Conjuring” films, “Furious 7,” the “Insidious” films), and production designer Bill Brzeski (“Furious 7”). They are joined by costume designer Kym Barrett (“The Matrix” trilogy, “The Amazing Spider-Man”) and composer Rupert Gregson-Williams (“Wonder Woman”).

The story of an ambitious princess who wants to become the queen of the seven oceans while being forced into an arranged marriage with the ruler, so she hatches a brilliant plan to replace her bethroed with the man she loves.
WonderWoman and Aquaman has really change the game for DC. I'm a marvel fan but these movies really amaze me. It makes u laugh and cry. Everything is in there. I hope they do this too with superman and batman.
This movie ..made me cry ,laugh ,,cry ,, scared,,,thrilled ..I loved it so much and Jason Momoa ,your humor is on point and you are a true artist .. Keep on going man ..
Patrick Wilson ..a true genius..
Nicole Kidman ..You are Worthy of your title ,A true Queen .I love you
Dafoa ,a crazy piece of art can't go well without you ..
Nice try, most people know that this has to do with Johnny Depp who is said to have abused her.
During filming Aquaman, she could actually not stop flirting with Jason, even though he pulled all sorts of pranks on her.
Yah, she obviously has the hots for the prankster Jason.
Loved the movie, i hope they come out with a second part where they do reveal themselves to the land, but for the better. Like how Thor kinda was, its just always so cool to me to watch “us” humans interact with other humans from other realms and other worlds!
Police: where do you live?
Me: with my parents
Police: where do your parents live?
Me: with me.
Police: where do all of you live?
Police: where is your house?
Me: next to my neighbour.
Police: where's your neighbour's house?
Me: if i tell you, you won't believe me.
Police: tell me.
Me: ok, next to my house
This movie compared to the other lately released dc movies is so much better and im actually looking forward for other future dc movies ( but i still prefer marvel , cuz it is ahead of dc rn movie wise)
What a stupid childish movie, I think it's for 10 years old kids!!!!
Waste of time ...doesn't make any kind of sense I mean WTF!!!
I really like the colors... but everything looks as fake as F**k
If you want to watch it with your kids that's okay i guess...
But if you don't like childish movies so you have to skip this one 😂
I've been putting off watching this movie for a while now coz I thought I'd be disappointed after the two previous DC turds before it, but boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise after I did!! This is what a superhero flick should be, just raw, unadulterated fun!!
That "Redhead" is Actually the Blonde Amber Heard ...A Very Mediocre "actress" (& I'm being Generous here) !!!...No wonder she hasn't ever "carried" a film as yet (her famous "bimbo" friends already have) !!!...I really don't get the Hype there !!!
Master Devoe It's funny to read this, because while Marvel trailers and clips barely have any DC mention in the comments, I can't scroll down a comment section on any DC video without a comparison with Marvel. 😂
I think DC fans are more worried about their movies not being as good as Marvel, than the other way around. And I like both.
Jules Verne once wrote, 20,000 leagues under the sea which would be like 105,000 after you drill the planet and pass right thru it, even if he ment miles it would still be around 19,500 km after you drill and pass thru it, lol. You should edit one big error in a movie, when Arthur and his brother are fighting,in the end of a fight that red hair actress swims away instead of walking away, since they were watching them fight above the current sea level. Atlantis was all around the world , you can actually see it now thanks to the google earth, lidar scanner and all the people who are responsible for it. https://youtu.be/IpRixVkSOvM
Just saw it. Suprisely good movie! I love that darker feeling DC movies have (in compare with Marvel's) and I thought by the trailer that this is gonna be a more childish one. But hell no! This is perhaps the best DC movie to date! Okay, _'The Dark Knight'_ aside. That was a masterpiece. But still, this one is super impressive. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ by me, DC. *Well fuckin' done!*
+N N Yeah, I mean the MCU, sorry. X-Men franchise indeed it's much better, at least for my tastes. Not that I didn't enjoy many movies of MCU. I'm just saying that DC has a different vibe. More dark. So to say

As a child, there was a portrait in our family home in Paris that I always loved. Today, it’s known as Maya with Doll – but to me it was just a portrait of my mother, albeit a remarkable one. “Your grandfather was a painter,” she would say, whenever the subject of the canvas, one of many that hung around the house, came up in discussion. It was only when I began school, and whispers about my heritage started to follow me, that I realised what an understatement that was. My grandfather was far more than a painter. He was the defining figure of 20th-century art – and, as I would learn later from years of academic study, a true genius. It was a revelation that would shape the course of my life in many ways. When Picasso died – in 1973, the year before I was born – he left behind 45,000 works, not to mention personal objects and correspondence.
