"India is only tracking the big QR lift-off that first happened in China. According to one estimate, QR code enabled $1.65 trillion worth of mobile payments in China in 2016. Tencent and Alipay, the biggest payments companies in China, are the biggest drivers of QR codes in China. There have been reports of the code being used to tip waiters in restaurants and even give alms to beggars.
As The Economist explains, these codes took off in Asia first and is now ready to spread to America and Europe. An article in the Wall Street Journal goes on to say that the cashless society has already arrived—only, it’s in China. Mobile payments totalled $9 trillion in China the year before, growing nearly four times from 2015 to 2016, whereas people chose to spend $10 trillion in cash in 2016, down about 10% in two years."
Hi, I have a question, does anyone knows how a could make a QR code but not from an image but from a sentence only ? The phone would recognize the sentence, instead of the original scare, and give the link to the user

Q-1Below are the stages of a QR code jigsaw task. Put the stages in the correct order.
1-Create barcodes with a unique colour for each step.
2-Choose three or four recipes and save them to Pocket.
3-Give the learners a QR code with a web address link to the original recipe to check the answers.
4-Allocate each learner a colour. Explain that they each have steps of a recipe. Their task is to decode the steps and put them in order. Tell the class to find learners with the other colours and work together in groups.
5-Present a screenshot of the recipe web page that has been marked up with an app such as Awesome Screenshot to review language.
6-Show the codes or print them out. The learners scan the codes with their mobile devices and work in groups to put them in the right order.
I want to create a QR code so that students can answer a question and scan to see if they are write. So I want to put in text. How can I change the size of the text that shows after they scan it. Right now the text comes up very small.
Good day, I came across your site. I have the basics of designing a qr code. I do however have a specialist need. I own a label print business in South Africa. I have a client who would like to use a qr code on a label of which the size will be 15 x 10 mm. I can get a standard qr code to fit no problem. The client wants his logo in the centre. I have seen from your site what to do so no problem again. The request however is that the client wishes to use this qr code on the adhesive label to identify his companies electronics circuit boards that are imported into South Africa. For this to work I would need a qr code that can generate sequential numbers. I can do a normal qr code with sequential numbering, but cannot do a qr code with a logo and sequential numbering. Would that be possible.
Thanks for this info Jay. It looks like this is something even I could attempt - and I'm in my 70's and a carpenter - my generation don't generally speaking 'do' tech stuff like your generation do (especially us manual workers)! We just didn't get exposed to 'stuff like this' in our early years. So can you please further explain to me: I am doing a bucket list thing and releasing a cd of songs I've written over the years. The CD Replication company say I apparently need a bar code, but here in the UK that will cost a lot of money and I even have to join industry bodies like the British Phonographic Industry to qualify for a code suitable for the CD (which also costs money and wouldn't be of value to me. I have been told a QR code is also acceptable? If so, what info would I need to include on it and how would I go about that please. Frank
Sechskies Eun Ji Won and rookie singers Lee Soo Hyun and Kim Eun Bi performed the third OST single titled "Love Song". The rookies, who are both training to debut in HYWY Entertainments girl group HYWY Girls, joined the veteran to sing about falling in love with an unlikely person. The rhythmic medium temp track is the perfect tune to make your spring days even brighter.
As a child, there was a portrait in our family home in Paris that I always loved. Today, it’s known as Maya with Doll – but to me it was just a portrait of my mother, albeit a remarkable one. “Your grandfather was a painter,” she would say, whenever the subject of the canvas, one of many that hung around the house, came up in discussion. It was only when I began school, and whispers about my heritage started to follow me, that I realised what an understatement that was. My grandfather was far more than a painter. He was the defining figure of 20th-century art – and, as I would learn later from years of academic study, a true genius. It was a revelation that would shape the course of my life in many ways. When Picasso died – in 1973, the year before I was born – he left behind 45,000 works, not to mention personal objects and correspondence.
