Oh how nice i too want grape vine in bathroom and out areas
Beautiful village i wish to do same in USA although it will be difficult with all new laws being passed to prevent people freedom to have a home
Wowie~Wow!! The BoatHouse was nice ,especially that door!! My favorite though was the last one with the gorgeous , red BedCave and the cozy, little ReadingNook with most unique light! It is wonderful to see someone actually building and living their dream! Thank you very much for sharing it!!;) Peace to All of Us!!💜💙💜
@Noa Well , TBH , I used to hate anything that is Islamic , including Arabs as well , but I did my research and my grandfather was a huge help , he fought the Frensh occupation in a small age with his Father , and he battled Frensh settlers along with Arabs , Islam has a lot of good things to offer , but some things are taking out of context , Modern Muslims are SHIT heads . not to make my comment very long , people back then were different , it was less of who you are and more of what you're made of, now days things are are only getting worst , we are facing racism in our own mother land , some Arabs want to have islamizations of the country , and it's not cool , since we have Moroccans Jews and Christians , we don't want Islam to be forced on others , we just want peace and to be independent from France once and for all , this current regime needs to change as well because, it was made in authority by France itself , they are stealing all our wealth .
We want this to Stop .
@Noureddine Merradou I know very well what Jizya means. My brother had a Moroccon girlfriend and I know plenty of (ex-)muslims. I know Amazigh are different though. No hate from me ok but I don't like islam.
@Noa we Had Just Celebrated our 2963 th Amazigh Year , that's right we existed long before Christianity and Islam , and some historians presume our civilization is older than pharaonic Civilization, we were a model of cultural and Ethnical coexistence . Sadly after Islam and Frensh colonization , things have changed , and we inherited many problems from Islamic culture , we suffered and still do .
@Noa Look Up what Jizya menas then Come talk about it . Here in Morocco we had Jewish Ancestors , even before the Islam , I am not Arab , I am Amazigh - Berber - if you may but that's not the correct term , Amazigh people have embraced a lot of faiths , including Christianity and Judaism and Lastly Islam , the angle you're coming from has nothing to do with me or with us Moroccans and North Africans in general
@Noureddine Merradou No thats not true. Jews and Christians were niot equal but made to pay Jizya ( so -called protection money) in every islamic country, many have been killed through out history up to this day. Just read the full post on wikipedia where you got the 350.000 number from.
u did a great job, I love Asillah, used to spend 3 months summer every year there for 22 years but then I moved away from Morocco and I miss the beautiful city, ur video gave me sooo much memories thank u for sharing ♥
I love what you are doing ,also your home and your attitude to the local inhabitants you are one in ten thousand ,the local people could make these stoves for sale i think ,
it just amazes me what some people are choosing to do with their lives removing themselves from the mainstream idea of living and inventing their own existence in the most beautiful and freeing way....this is really inspirational thanks for posting :)
The bible speaks of a time when you would not be able to buy or sell, just like in the time of Joseph when the money failed. This time according to Bible prophecy is soon to come upon us, first we must be spiritually ready by repenting of our sins. Isa 1:18 and surrendering all to Jesus Christ, secondly try to live where we can plant our own food and live off the land.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful story & vision. As someone also living in Sheffield it is so inspiring to see how much you have accomplished and how far you have taken your dreams to turn them in to a reality. I will definitely be applying to volunteer with you in the future, so I will hopefully see you soon :) Thank you again, this really means so much to me and the best of luck with all your future developments! x
@Hannah Ashe How are you guys getting on with that? My bf and I are doing the exact thing just now, also Portugal (he's Portuguese), also planning on building a cob house, ideally with some old stone house to renovate on the land. We want to make it as sustainable as possible. Anyways, it's just so nice to know there are other people out there thinking same thing! Good luck with your dream!
As a team by myself I don't understand what that has to do with anything. Multiple people do this as both genders, especially the cultures from which they employed mudricks, in which construction was mostly done by males. Nowadays, your gender has nothing to do with it.
Beautiful! Well done! Do you mind me asking where in Portugal you decided to settle down? My partner & I are currently doing research on buying land in Portugal to renovate using cob/build a small farm to support ourselves. There seems to be so much to learn though, it is hard to know without being there on the ground!
What a wonderful, beautiful, and creative mind! To see what one woman's mind created and with determination and volunteers etc: Wow! it's just phenomenal. What has been accomplished is a wonderful small community of "extended families " . I wish there are programs in schools everywhere teaching basic life skills like these. Thank you for sharing your experience and journey with us.
Sechskies Eun Ji Won and rookie singers Lee Soo Hyun and Kim Eun Bi performed the third OST single titled "Love Song". The rookies, who are both training to debut in HYWY Entertainments girl group HYWY Girls, joined the veteran to sing about falling in love with an unlikely person. The rhythmic medium temp track is the perfect tune to make your spring days even brighter.
As a child, there was a portrait in our family home in Paris that I always loved. Today, it’s known as Maya with Doll – but to me it was just a portrait of my mother, albeit a remarkable one. “Your grandfather was a painter,” she would say, whenever the subject of the canvas, one of many that hung around the house, came up in discussion. It was only when I began school, and whispers about my heritage started to follow me, that I realised what an understatement that was. My grandfather was far more than a painter. He was the defining figure of 20th-century art – and, as I would learn later from years of academic study, a true genius. It was a revelation that would shape the course of my life in many ways. When Picasso died – in 1973, the year before I was born – he left behind 45,000 works, not to mention personal objects and correspondence.
