Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - In Theaters November 16
Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.
At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp. The cast also includes, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech.
“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.
Slated for release on November 16, 2018, the film will be distributed worldwide in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
I'll give Johnny Depp's Grindelwald a chance, but I don't love it from what I've seen, especially the design. I mean, really?? Spiked bleach blonde hair and a bleach blonde mustache?? Ugh, it just looks awful to me! Sad thing is, he looked pretty cool with the long hair and full beard, but it seems like he'll escape prison and go back to the stupid spiked hair and little mustache! Frustrating!
Johnny Depp is the best actor in this movie - I do not care about his private life!
His professional career is phenomenal, but he can not promote this film in American televisions and shows!!
Amber promotes Aquaman and she's a violent woman - why do people no protest against her? Johnny Depp is her victim - that's true! Are you hypocrites - MeToo LIARS... !!!
Thanks ...:-))) We love Johnny Depp in Europe! He was among his fans in Berlin, Moscow and Zurich! He was in the US TV last 10 months ago and that's a great shame! He is a phenomenal actor and a wonderful man!
Yes, he was on COMIC - CON! But that's all! The other actors go to all the televisions stations, they are attending a TV shows, but Johnny Depp is not there with the others. Why?
Amber is a rapist and Johnny is a victim - this is true! But the hypocritical MeToo hunters do not see it!
*they should probably release movies on other authors as well like bathilda bagshot , Miranda goshawk , adalbert waffling , Quentin Trimble. And also on early life of Voldemort. And probably one on the Marauders ( that wud be the best one). Ughhh can't wait to see these movies as series. Oh and yes , I also want one on R.A.B*
I don’t know why, but i’m scared that Credence will be Snape’s grandfather (and maybe Nagini his grandmother? Oh.My.God.)
I love the connections between Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter, but i hope that Rowling will have limits, or she will turn FB into a fanfiction.
+Nutty dishwasher Snape is one of the 3 keys characters in the books it's likely that JKR will tell us more about his family... he's a very mysterious character and JKR seems to be osessed with him so... We need more informations about him and the prince family !!!!!
As much as I like Severus Snape as a character, I don't think his ancestors will play a role in this series.
Because Snape's magical family tree is not really a significant one.
But be prepared to MAYBE meet the Lestranges, Blacks, Weasely's and even The Potters to appear in this movie.
It won't happen. Credence is a Lestrange and Snape is a half-blood meaning he is only magical from his maternal side of the family and his mother comes from the Prince family so there is 0% chance of them being related.
I think I'm the only one who doesn't really care for the Dumbeldore x Grindelwald relationship /:
Also, I know this series just started but I'm already excited for how it'll end and culminate in Tom Riddle becoming Lord Voldemort.
+ygnightkid Yes. Rowling and Yates confirmed that the series will end in 1945 during the 2016 Panel regarding the first movie.
As for AHS Apocalypse, so far so good but I don't trust them anymore so I'm certain they'll screw it up eventually. That being said I like it a lot more than seasons 4, 5, 6 and 7.
You are actually wrong. This series won't be about Voldemort at all. The 5th movie will end in 1945 with the duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in which Dumbledore attains the Elder Wand. In 1945, Voldemort is only a teenager so sorry to burst your bubble.
The wizarding world J K Rowling created is so large and so rich that there's so much more and different topics to exploit. I think its universe is even larger than the MCU. After Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts I Can't wait to see other film series in that franchise.
I have always thought that there's something constrasingly different about Grindelwald when compared to voldemort. Sure Big V was the more dangerous of the two, but Gellert had charisma, he could actually give a damn about something other than himself, and unlike voldemort, Grindelwald desired a Wizard dominated world, not just a pure blood one.
Sechskies Eun Ji Won and rookie singers Lee Soo Hyun and Kim Eun Bi performed the third OST single titled "Love Song". The rookies, who are both training to debut in HYWY Entertainments girl group HYWY Girls, joined the veteran to sing about falling in love with an unlikely person. The rhythmic medium temp track is the perfect tune to make your spring days even brighter.
As a child, there was a portrait in our family home in Paris that I always loved. Today, it’s known as Maya with Doll – but to me it was just a portrait of my mother, albeit a remarkable one. “Your grandfather was a painter,” she would say, whenever the subject of the canvas, one of many that hung around the house, came up in discussion. It was only when I began school, and whispers about my heritage started to follow me, that I realised what an understatement that was. My grandfather was far more than a painter. He was the defining figure of 20th-century art – and, as I would learn later from years of academic study, a true genius. It was a revelation that would shape the course of my life in many ways. When Picasso died – in 1973, the year before I was born – he left behind 45,000 works, not to mention personal objects and correspondence.
