Get a truck and stop being a loser lol? Yeah, and what does it take to fuel a truck about $400- $500? Not to mention like all transportation you're a dime a dozen. I can't remember the last time I saw a truck driver step out in a three piece suite or anything near equivalent

ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING despite what the owner would say I had to skip drivers that were notorious for saying no because I was driving (working while dispatching) and that phone didn't stop ringing and with part deliveries the bulk of it is just companies wanting to know prices from point A-B they don't even end up useing you but you can't skip on the call. So I took that concept into consideration in that one month time I was otr in that guys van I said no to 2 loads just because I knew I'd be sitting after the drop. That taxi owner is a huge under achiever and does runs so cheap I can't start anything local/regional. My step father is the president of a local factory he wouldn't even take my business because the taxi companies rates were so cheap
Yep that’s true

ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING I have a class A CDL but I don't use it because the mentors are dick and you gotta live with them 24 hours a day and because of how limited the life is as far being bound to truck stops. I wish I'd stuck with my first instinct and bought a van instead of listening to my mother and wife who said you gotta work for somebody first. After driving semi otr wasn't an option for me I started driving for a FedEx Ground contractor and after that the local Taxi business where I started dispatching myself on Saturday mornings with retired drivers who were on a volunteer basis for out of town deliveries. I learned as a small time dispatcher yeah, you're supposed to go down the list of drivers but over time you learn to skip the guys that always say no
Yes very true, I see a difference.30 cents easy

ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING I was only on the road with that guys van for a month but I used a fuel app to get the cheapest fuel anytime I could afford it time wise, truck drivers can't do that. Trucking hubs always have higher prices than local gas stations or the same

Yes but not all, look on Expediters Online .com and call some companies and see which do take old vans

I wanted to have my van repainted last yr, but still didn't start it. When it's done, it will look brand new. I can’t believe they would frown on this, but what do I know. Unfortunately, that's all I got.
+Joe Moto thanks so much, I am also glad to know many more friends like you :)

ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING awesome Serg. So glad to know you
+Joe Moto exactly my friend you got to do with what you got, I remember when I got this sprinter and it was breaking all the time, my financial future was hanging by a thread, I was bearaly getting by, sometimes late on my rent it was bad, I was struggling for my friends told me I should quit driving sprinter and get a real job, I am glad I did not and just stick to it and learn from my mistakes and slowly climb out of a hole and fix all my engine and sprinted problems learn more, buy parts sprinter and keep going, Life is tough sometimes, I am still doing same thing but no more rent thank God

you have any idea how many loaded payed miles you do a year?
+iceblue69 iceblue69 thanks
iceblue69 iceblue69 (1 year ago)
yeah good set up
+iceblue69 iceblue69 yes I normally drive 10 to 15k miles per month and I save on fuel with good fuel economy
iceblue69 iceblue69 (1 year ago)
that is still great miles taking time off you do, most would be happy. I have friends do over 100k but work more too and likely for less, 70-80k gross is not bad working 9 or less months plus fuel cost for you getting mpg you do is around 15k or less with those miles
+iceblue69 iceblue69 I don’t work complicate Full Year, I take allot of time off and I try to take 3 months off in the months of December trough February, and I leave if I need some rest, I think driving is relaxing after working home, I do about 80 to 90k per year
