05:28
New relationships are both wonderful and TERRIFYING. LoDolce explains the top 9 relationship fears that all men have and why men fear commitment. To download the ebook Men, visit: http://www.sexyconfidence.com/secret/ebook2 Relationships are both wonderful and terrifying at the same time. You've finally met someone that you can't stop thinking about and want nothing more than to just sit at home, snuggle up and tell each other, you're awesome. But alongside the joy of a new relationship comes  an enormous amount of fear for a lot of folks. So in this video, I outline the 9 biggest relationship fears all men have. And this isn't just based on my own experience (yes I have certainly experienced all of these fears at one point or another), but also based on conversations I've had with hundreds of men as they pursue new relationships. Here are the 9 reasons: 1. Fear of loss of freedom 2. Fear of a Monotonous sex life 3. Fear of Neediness 4. Fear of Infidelity 5. Fear of Heartbreak 6. Fear of Not Being Well Established Yet 7. Fear of Vulnerability 8. Fear of Change 9. Fear of Losing Other Relationships

He’s Not Ready for a Relationship? Say THIS to Him… | Matthew Hussey, Get The Guy

►► Get Your Copy of the 59 Secret Scripts to Use With Men, Here http://GetTheScripts.com *** “I’m just not ready to be exclusive with anyone…” There’s no good way to hear that sentence from a guy’s mouth. Maybe he’s focusing on his career. Maybe he’s travelling the world this year and won’t have time for a relationship. Or maybe...potentially...it’s just his BS excuse because he wants to play the field and enjoy the sexual delights of the bachelor lifestyle. All that matters is this...what does it mean for you? I’ve seen so many women handle this conversation in TERRIBLE ways. They get upset, angry, emotional – giving up months and months trying to win him over and convince him to be in a relationship. I know this sucks, but I’m going to show you EXACTLY what to say in your response to a guy in this moment so that you feel empowered, confident, and in control of your romantic destiny again Remember, it’s not what other people do that defines the quality of our love life, but how we respond to what other people do. ▼ Links At The End ▼ Get Your Copy of the 59 Secret Scripts to Use With Men: http://GetTheScripts.com ▼ Get My Latest Dating Tips and Connect With Me ▼ Blog → http://www.gettheguy.co.uk/blog Facebook → https://facebook.com/CoachMatthewHussey Twitter → https://twitter.com/matthewhussey

Setting standards in your relationship | Does it run men away?

05:18
https://www.gofundme.com/kevhick https://www.patreon.com/KevHick https://www.paypal.me/kevhick Setting value yourself and standards for your relationship People love to let things happen naturally. They want things to flow into perfection. They want it so much sometimes that they actively avoid setting values and standards when entering new relationships out of fear of scaring the other person off. Fear of seeming too rigid or controlling. I suppose the hope is that this new love does everything right by chance. That they naturally fall in line with the order that you haven’t set but wish you could’ve. Women often write me and ask about how to bring up issues with their man. He’s doing this thing or that thing they makes them feel small and insignificant. But they don’t want him to be upset with them or to think they are just causing drama for bringing it up. It’s always apparent that there have been no standards established in their relationships from the very beginning. They spent the courtship period doing their best to be easy to deal with. Now to keep this man feel they must spend the rest of this relationship being unfulfilled taking snit. Being easy to deal with. Someone recently wrote me and said. It seems like they have been tolerating too much of what they don’t want. How can they set boundaries without driving every man away? My answer: Early before those lines have been crossed. Setting boundaries with people is a whole lot easier than correcting people. Before you ever give yourself to a man he should know what you stand for. He should know whats required of him. As far as running every man away... Good men love when lines are clearly drawn. In most cases they have and idea of standards they wish to define for you as well. Structure isn’t what scares men away. Emotional fragility does. Instability does that. And standards built around a woman’s insecurities. Reasonable and respectable guidelines to love by are attractive to a man. Partly because most good men know how easy it is to get called controlling for trying to set a structure in a relationship. It’s not always about controlling it’s about respect and decent men know that. If you miss that opportunity you may find yourself in a situation where you have to express disdain for inconsiderate behavior. A man who refuses correction may not believe in compromise. Which is way you probably want to find out if he’s capable of compromising before things get too serious. How can you even know if you’re compatible if you don’t know each others behavioral likes and dislikes. People are so worried about having a spark or bot scaring somebody away that they don’t spend enough time learning the pertinent information about each other’s needs before a relationship is started. They are afraid of that conflict. The problem with avoiding conflict is it causes conflict Even if you’re late doing this It’s as easy as having a conversation that starts with “hey so what are deal breakers for you. What do you need from me to be happy. “ Is there anyway I could disappoint you that I might not know about. Start by offering your ear to their unexpressed standards. If they care about where things are going they should ask you about yours. If they don’t just jump in and start talking about the shit that matters to you. Just like any other conversation its a back and fourth until you’ve reached a mutual understanding. Asking those questions of them creates a situation where you are vulnerable to judgment. Be prepared. Understand that you’ll be creating an opportunity where their intimacy and honesty can be reciprocated with your own. That’s when you present your standards. Anyway I hope this hopes. Thats all I got on this subject for now

What A Man Needs In A Relationship - Dr Myles Munroe

08:01
“A MAN DOES NOT NEED LOVE”. Very important. No where in the bible does it ever say a woman should love a man, it doesn’t exist in scripture because a man does not need love. Why? Because a man needs respect. Write that down. A man interpret respect as love. When a woman tell you she loves you, it doesn’t mean anything to you, think about it, but when she respects you, you know she loves you. Ephesians 5 says this “Husband, love your wife” it tell a man to love the woman, never tells the woman to love the man. But it does say “ Wives, respect your husbands”, the same chapter. In this episode of Relationship Talks, we are talking about how to feel girly/feminine in a relationship – especially if you are the taller one. We get this kind of questions quite a lot, so we wanted to give an answer or better... Simi said what she thinks about feeling girly/feminine from her point of view. As it is more a question for Simi, we tried to make an interview situation out of it and think we got some pretty good answers. But also the boys in relationships with taller girls should get something out of it, so there is also a short part from Danny's point of view. If you also feel sometimes ungirly in your relationship, then this might hopefully help you a little bit. So tell us what you think in the comments! :) Thank you so much for watching! We hope you liked our first relationship talks/advice video and could get something out of it. We are steadily working to improve this series, also with your help. Please let us know if you have any problems/questions yourself or constructive improvement suggestions. ADHD And Relationship Issues – 11 Ways to Fix Them

10:35
ADHD and relationships issues: 11 tips to fix them. When you look at ADHD and marriage and ADHD and dating problems, you see that the disorder can cause many problems on both sides. Many of the problems stem from ADHD and forgetfulness, and your partner's reaction to the forgetfulness. To see what kind of impact your ADHD is having on relationships here's a series of 10 situations that are pretty typical when one person has ADHD. 1. My partner says that I zone out instead of listening. 2. I forget the things I agreed to do. 3. My partner complains that I never finish what I start. 4. We argue about how I spend money or pay bills. 5. My partner says I can’t be trusted to do what I say. 6. The clutter in my office/shop/garage is a point of contention for us. 7. We fight about my being late or losing track of time. 8. My partner nags me a lot. 9. I often wait until the last minute to get things done, which causes problems for us. 10. I lose my temper when we argue. How do you fare? Or are you on the receiving end of some of this stuff. For the person who does not have ADD and you’re in a relationship, dealing with these issues can be very difficult and frustrating. If you are a parent who has ADHD, your inattentiveness or forgetfulness can be hard for your children to understand. Your child may think you don’t care. And that's the impression that they’re left with because; people with ADD can appear to be aloof. And this comes from not always clicking in and being involved in the moment. Here are six tips for the partner with ADD and five for the person without. First for the Partner with ADHD: 1. if your relationship problems seem to be caused by your ADD, recognize that you have the disorder and it can be helped. 2. Use alarms and reminders on your phone or calendar for medication and appointments, 3. Take medication on the weekends if you’re having these problems on the weekends. 4. The best way to prevent nagging, is to follow through. 5. When your partner is talking, try to make sure you listen all the way to the end of their sentence and thought. 6. Create time buffers. Impatience is a feature of ADHD. Often a person with ADD would rather walk into an event late, than arrive early and have all this idle time to waste. So if the idea of wasting time being early sounds painful, plan to take something with you to keep you occupied. For the Partner without ADHD I have 5 tips: 1. The first thing to establish is recognizing that your partner’s brain is wired differently.. 2. That said don't get into a cycle of relating to your partner as a parent instead of a partner. 3. If you need a task completed by a specific time, write it down – be specific. you will probably need to anticipate consequences for them. 4. Try asking for what you want instead of telling. There is always the option of getting professional help. Having a professional, independent person help you navigate through some of the issues can really strengthen your relationship. Relationships are hard enough without being super paranoid all the time. These 10 tips will help you handle your insecurity and allow you to focus on the amazing and beautiful person you have fallen in love with. Don't let your insecurities sabotage a good thing. Insecurities. We all have them whether physical, finances, material, or other. Regardless, nothing can kill a potentially great situation than relationship insecurity. We all have insecurities but managing them is a key component for a happy, healthy, and successful relationship. Aaron Marino of alpha m. presents ten tips to overcome relationship insecurity. 1. Don't judge your current relationship based on past relationship - don't make the current pay for the deeds of the past. 2. Don't confusion imagination with reality - don't read into everything. The best way to squash this is to encourage open and honest conversations from the beginning, when things are 'good'. Don't let your mind play tricks on you! 3. Stop trying to mind read 4. Once you ask, don't keep asking! - once you're there, the relationship is over from the persistent pestering. 5. Your relationship needs room to breathe - if you are constantly standing over top of the relationship, you'll smother it. You need to have your own things going on including outside interests and friends. You are individuals that came together. 6. Relationships aren't always roses and puppies - the new relationship is like walking on air. It doesn't last, however. You can't maintain that level of emotional intensity. You'll have ebbs and flows. Don't bail on the 1st sign of trouble! Keep nurturing and working, and it'll work itself out if it's supposed to. 7. Do not snoop! - if you reach that point, you'll never stop because you'll never trust them! You can misread something and turn it into a situation. 8. Go with your gut (instincts) 9. You are responsible for your happiness and only your happiness. 10. Relationships are supposed to feel good where you feel better when you're with this person.

What Makes Guys Shut Down Emotionally And Withdraw | Relationship Advice With Carlos Cavallo

08:17
GET MORE: http://www.datingadviceguru.com/yt165 What Makes Guys Shut Down Emotionally And Withdraw Look, it’s no secret that there are two things that every relationship question boils down to in my experience… - How do I get my guy to ADORE, WORSHIP, and APPRECIATE me? AND - How do I get my guy to stop shutting down and withdrawing from me? He’s distant… And if I’m perfectly straight with you here – and I always am – #2 is pretty much the same as #1, even if it doesn’t seem like it on the surface. Let’s be real here – Guys are not easy to reach emotionally. - We’re hard to read… - We don’t always talk about our feelings… - We even go so far as to hide a lot of our emotional content from you… So yeah, I get it. Men seem emotionally distant. But here’s the honest-to-gosh truth: Men feel emotions just as deeply as women do. We just keep them out of sight. FACT: Men are never rewarded for being “more emotional” or expressive. In most men’s experience, we never win by being emotionally transparent to anyone. It’s how we grew up. So while you might THINK this is a shortcoming, you would actually get really sick and tired of a guy who was emotional all the time. Trust me. I used to pull that on some women back in my 20s, and I noticed that they would lose attraction for me in just a few dates. Almost like clockwork. FACT: Men are not attractive when overly emotional. You know it. No matter how much you WANT a guy to be more emotional, you also know you’d get sick of that really quickly. It’s okay in your girlfriends, but not in a guy. That being said, I think guys need to know how to BETTER communicate their emotions to women. And truthfully, we will share our feelings more – if you do something first. I’ll tell you what that special thing is in a bit, but first, let’s talk about what makes guys shut down emotionally and grow cold. Why he goes distant on you – REASON #1: He’s overwhelmed. Yeah, you might have heard me say this once or twice. Guys don’t respond to women’s emotional expression in the best way. Let me give you a quick example: After a few weeks of relationship problems, you’ve had enough. You’ve reached your limit, and now you decide to have it out with him. Let’s say you’ve just spent 15 minutes explaining your frustrations with him. Hey, it’s easy to “ride the rapids” of emotional purging when you finally feel free to express yourself. THE PROBLEM: This leaves him with about 2 minutes of emotional tolerance left over to talk to you. You see, he just spent 15 minutes coping with emotional dialogue that has probably flooded his system. He’s now completely spent from just keeping his act together while he listened and held your emotional container for a quarter hour. You probably feel GREAT, venting all that anger, panic, fear, and hurt. He feels like dog poop. And now he just wants this whole thing to be over so he can soothe his raw emotional nerves with a game of Call of Duty on the X-box. He feels it all in his body: A big CLENCH that starts from his toes, works it’s way through all his muscles, his gut, and then up the back of his neck into his brain. He’s like a cat backed into a corner. All he wants is OUT – in any way possible. Which means you’re unlikely to get a lot of emotional sharing from him. Recognize that you may have to split this emotional venting session up into two parts… Start out by explaining that you have “a few things to get off your chest.” Then do it. Quickly. And then you have to... Relationship Issues: Are You And Your Partner Meant To Be?

05:48
C'mon over to http://marieforleo.com/2012/08/relationship-issues where the main discussion happens after the episode! Relationship issues can bring us all down, especially when we don't feel like we are seeing eye to eye with our partner. It's no surprise that many of us bring up relationship questions when it comes to things like ambition in life, career goals, etc. In this video you'll learn how to find YOUR truth on what you want in your relationship, which will in turn help you figure out if you and your partner's differences are in fact deal breakers. Here are 4 juicy questions to ask yourself right now about your relationship: Relationship Question #1 - The kids talk. If you want kids and your partner doesn't, or it's the other way around, I've found this is something you MUST agree on. For most people, this is a deal breaker. Relationship Question #2 - Do you like to do the same thing with your partner with you have time off? Do they like to do the things you like to do? If you don't see eye to eye on this, will you be happy not spending most of your free time together and having different experiences and things in common? Only you can decide this. Relationship Question #3 - Imagine what your life would be like if you weren't with your partner and you felt no guilt about it. If you could be free of the relationship, and neither of you felt any pain, would you still be with this person? Relationship Question #4 - Really ask yourself why you want to be in the relationship. If you're really honest about why you're in it, then it will help you find clarity about how to move ahead in the future. If you enjoyed this video, subscribe to our channel and sign up for your free weekly business and life advice at http://www.marieforleo.com. Creating Safety In Relationship, Qualifying Men with Vulnerability & Transformation by Truth Telling

14:08
“Creating Safety In Relationship, Qualifying Men with Vulnerability & Transformation by Truth Telling” Part 1: https://youtu.be/ykGZszGl_YY Part 2: https://youtu.be/MEINarPJgVM Check Out Antia Boyd Here- http://magnetizetheman.com/ ↓↓↓ READ MORE ↓↓↓ This is the last video in the trust series which is the interviews that I'm doing with on Antia Boyd. And if you've made it this far you've probably watched videos 1 and 2. Part 1: https://youtu.be/ykGZszGl_YY Part 2: https://youtu.be/MEINarPJgVM KEY POINTS: This third part is one of my favorites simply because we cover three things that I think are critical in relationships and critical in dating and just being a good human in general. Part 1: We talked about is transparency, and how transparency is actually the key to creating a foundation of safety in a relationship with somebody. * And if you don't have safety, it's very difficult to take risk. * If you don't have safety, it's very difficult to grow. * The safety between the two people allow for a secure attachment to form for people to know where they're at. * And to feel like they can be themselves in their relationship even if it rocks the boat a bit. Part 2: We talk about is the number one way to qualify a man. * This is a little bit different than how you might think to typically qualify somebody * It's counter intuitive * It’s about halfway through the video make sure you watch that. Part 3: We cover is starting to shift getting off of this idea of being results focused in your dating and love life and more into seeing that the things that you're doing, the ways that you are expressing your truth, the ways that you are stepping into situations that are uncomfortable, are actually the key to you transforming and being the type of person that you want to be ultimately garnering more self-respect and self-love. *** “it's not that people can't deal with the inevitable chaos and the ups and downs of the relationship, it's what people can't deal with and what people end up leaving relationships for is when they're so confused, they don't know where they stand with the other person.” What is completely intolerable is when you don't know what the heck is going on and so you must get out of it. The whole idea of not knowing what is going on is this massive feeling of just there's no safety in it. There's no safety in it but if you know where you stand with somebody, if you know that person's angry with you, if you know that person has a problem, or there's a boundary, or you're feeling this or that and you're in communication about it, you can have blowout fights. You can have times when you're taking space and the two of you are questioning the relationship but if you're honest and transparent about it there is a foundation of safety there because at least you have a shared reality about what's going on. But the moment you're lying to yourself and to the other person and you're not in right relationship with the truth there may not be these fights on the surface but you're not on the same page and that's often where relationships and connections end up just completely falling apart. "When you acknowledge what you do not want, and then ask yourself, "What is it that I do want?" you begin a gradual shift into the telling of your new story and into a much-improved point of attraction.
