Yulin is a stage and film actress based in Singapore. She completed her 3-year conservatory actor training at LASALLE College of the Arts, where she had the opportunity to work with leading industry practitioners such as Edith Podesta, Aole T. Miller and Adam Marple. Since then, she has played leadings roles in various short films by critically acclaimed Singaporean directors such as Boo Jun Feng (Cannes), Ang Geck Geck and Chai Yiwei. She has also worked with one of Singapore's pioneer female filmmaker, Wee Li Lin, in the tele-movie 'Baby Bumps'. Her TV credits include Channel 5's 'Missing', 'Lion Mums', 'Tanglin', Toggle's 'What Do Men Want' and Hooq's 'How To Be A Good Girl'. In 2016, she starred in Okto's 'Make Me A Super', and is now in production for an upcoming worldwide children's TV series starring in the title role. She was also recently in the reality TV series, 'Hungry for Love'. On stage, she has worked with Singapore Repertory Theatre, Checkpoint Theatre, and since 2016, has had a recurring yearly appearance as the beloved 'Nonya Besar', in Kirana Seni's 'Kembangan', a dance & music theatre revue, patronised by various Ministers of Parliament each year. She is also a writer and theatre-maker in her own right, having recently staged a work-in-progress showing of an original work, entitled 'Knowing Eve'. Yulin has also taught drama and acting at various international schools and polytechnics. Along with her versatility in portraying characters of all shapes and sizes, and in various styles from tragedy to comedy, Yulin is also armed with a slew of performance skills such as singing, guitar, piano, drums, horse riding, martial arts, various dance styles and a bag full of accents, always ready to take on any role that comes her way.
