It has the same blue and yellow colour scheme, the same miniature pencils, the same shopping bags - but don't be fooled, this IKEA store is only a lookalike The imitation store - called 11 Furniture - is a four-storey building in the southern district of Kunming city in south-west China. The store looks and feels the same as IKEA, with the same mock-up rooms, layout and even rocking chair designs but it sells its own furniture made to order instead of IKEA flat-packed products. The shop covers a huge 10,000 sq m and even has a cafeteria-style restaurant, complete with minimalist wooden tables, although the menu features Chinese-style braised minced pork and eggs instead of IKEA's Swedish meatballs. The retailer is cashing in on replicating the brand experience rather than faking the product itself. This copycat store is characteristic of a new trend in China. Last month, an American blogger posted pictures of an elaborate fake Apple Store in Kunming, selling genuine if unauthorised iPhones, Macbooks and other products. However Paul French, the founder of the consulting firm, Access Asia, says no one should be surprised. He said: "It's nothing new, it's been going on for 25 years. Just about every foreign brand that has ever come here has been faked. "What we are seeing with the Apple and the IKEA stores is that they are 'lookie-likies', they are not actually fakes." The presence of the imitation stores in Kunming highlights China's appetite for western brands. IKEA said it has teams working at both the country and global level to handle intellectual property protection issues. "IKEA as one of the biggest home furnishing companies in the world, protecting Ikea's intellectual property rights is crucial," said Ikea China. It has nine stores in China - and plans to open one to two more stores a year. Chinese law prohibits firms from copying the "look and feel" of other companies' stores, but foreign companies must register their trademarks with China and enforcement can be lax. The United States and other Western countries have often complained China is woefully behind in its effort to stamp out intellectual property theft.

It also has a lot of adjustment. This is just like a little cotton bra that will pull over your head. It has no adjustments in the back. You can sleep in it. It does not give you the kind of shape that you probably want to go out in, but it is certainly a good bra that you could take to the hospital and you could sleep in.

This short film demonstrates the latest piece of innovative outdoor activity from Ford and O&M. Ford of Britain launched an augmented reality campaign featuring the new 7 seat Grand C-MAX car on JCDecaux Innovate's mall six-sheet screens at shopping centres nationwide. The campaign allows people to handle and explore miniaturised 3D 'virtual' models of the cars on screen and in the palm of their hand. The campaign, created by Ogilvy & Mather in London and digital production company Grand Visual, allows users to interact with the car simply by holding their hands up to the screen. Virtual buttons allow the user to choose the colour of the car, open doors, fold the seats flat, turn the car 360 degrees and select demos of the car's key features such as Active Park Assist. This is the first outdoor augmented reality campaign to use 3D depth imaging technology in the UK. Rather than using a printed marker or symbol as a point of reference for interaction, the user interface is based on natural movement and hand gestures allowing any passerby to immediately start interacting with the screen content. A Panasonic D-Imager camera accurately measures the users real-time spatial depth output and Inition's augmented reality software merges this real life footage with the 3D photo-real Grand C-MAX on screen. The campaign was planned and booked by Mindshare and Kinetic and will run for two weeks at Bluewater, Greenhithe; Bullring, Birmingham; Metrocentre, Gateshead; St David's, Cardiff; Princess, East Kilbride and in Westfield, Derby. This highly innovative campaign from Ford follows on from their SMAX 'Ice Climber' activity last year which also eschewed traditional billboards in favour of more immersive technologies which allow consumers to interact more intimately with the brand.

So.. yes, i am starting a new series. I planned this out for months, and i feel that you guys will like it too. I hope you do, but if you don't, it's cool my homeskillybiscuit. Keep in note, that one really odd fact about me is that I strongly dislike posting pictures of the girl who is supposed to play the main characters in my stories. Why? Because I think that when someone does that, it ruins the whole story- it's kinda like when you read twilight, then watch the movie. Completely different from how you pictured Bella, right? And I only post pics of Ariana, cuz' thats for specifically a Ariana/ justin story. SO yes, i'm rambling on. So yea, hope you enjoy : -- Third Person Omniscient [ No Pov ] : Springing up from her ear-splitting alarm clock in shock, Brandi Montgomery rushed over, quickly turning it off. "I gotta remember to get myself a new one." she mentally noted, as she opened her black cotton curtains, illuminating her dark room. She switched her small T.V. on, hoping to find something that will catch her eyes. Finding nothing that interested her, she walked into the bathroom, ready to start her day. After her warm, relaxing shower, she got out cautiously, not wanting to fall on the slippery tile floors. She walked into her room, with a red cotton bath towel fitted around her petite yet curvy body. "Your going to be late Brandi!" A loud screech from downstairs echoed up to her room, making her cringe in disgust. "Yea, whatever." Brandi replied back, quickly changing into her everyday school clothes. - Brandi's mom, Olivia, was tapping her freshly painted, expensive fake nails on the family's brand new mahogany kitchen table. She hesitated, looking at what Brandi was wearing this morning. Brandi wore her vintage grey zip-up sweatshirt that was about two sizes too big, jeans, and scuffed black high-top sneakers. Olivia practically forced Brandi out of her car and into the filled school parking lot, so she can get to 'work', which was really her shopping time at the mall for the day. No, it's not her grades that's always on her mind. She's probably one of the smartest kids you'll ever meet. Grade Average, 4.0. That's amazing, let me tell you. The only thing that makes her hate this place is, yes, the fellow high schoolers that walk the halls with her. They physically and mentally hurt her, with their words, and fists. OKAY, so a couple of days ago was a tuesday, but not just any tuesday my friends...it was JUSTIN FKIN BIEBER'S 17TH BIRTHDDAYYYYYY .. WOOO! - ok, i am now calm again. So.. yes, i am starting a new series. I planned this out for months, and i feel that you guys will like it too. I hope you do, but if you don't, it's cool my homeskillybiscuit. Keep in note, that one really odd fact about me is that I strongly dislike posting pictures of the girl who is supposed to play the main characters in my stories. Why? Because I think that when someone does that, it ruins the whole story- it's kinda like when you read twilight, then watch the movie. Completely different from how you pictured Bella, right? And I only post pics of Ariana, cuz' thats for specifically a Ariana/ justin story. SO yes, i'm rambling on. So yea, hope you enjoy : -- Third Person Omniscient [ No Pov ] : Springing up from her ear-splitting alarm clock in shock, Brandi Montgomery rushed over, quickly turning it off. "I gotta remember to get myself a new one." she mentally noted, as she opened her black cotton curtains, illuminating her dark room. She switched her small T.V. on, hoping to find something that will catch her eyes. Finding nothing that interested her, she walked into the bathroom, ready to start her day. After her warm, relaxing shower, she got out cautiously, not wanting to fall on the slippery tile floors. She walked into her room, with a red cotton bath towel fitted around her petite yet curvy body. "Your going to be late Brandi!" A loud screech from downstairs echoed up to her room, making her cringe in disgust. "Yea, whatever." Brandi replied back, quickly changing into her everyday school clothes. - Brandi's mom, Olivia, was tapping her freshly painted, expensive fake nails on the family's brand new mahogany kitchen table. She hesitated, looking at what Brandi was wearing this morning. Brandi wore her vintage grey zip-up sweatshirt that was about two sizes too big, jeans, and scuffed black high-top sneakers. Her hair was roughly put up in a bun, with loose strands of hair swaying near her cheekbones. She sighed, and swung her backpack on her right shoulder. Olivia put on a disgusted face, shaking her head. After watching her only daughter walk downstairs with what she thought was clothes that must have belonged to a homeless man, she sighed. "You know, if you think about your image, you can at least have one friend." She lifted one eyebrow, grabbing her keys and marching outside to her car, with her blinding neon juicy couture sweatsuit. "Well, if you can for once buy me clothes instead of hogging them for yourself, I won't have a problem with that." Brandi snapped back in a sour tone. "Your sixteen, it's called get a job." Olivia slid her keys in, rumbling her car to life. "Now, we gotta hurry, we have to get you to school." "Woo, i'm excited." Brandi's sarcasm shot back. - "Have fun kiddo." Olivia practically forced Brandi out of her car and into the filled school parking lot, so she can get to 'work', which was really her shopping time at the mall for the day. Brandi turned, watching her evil mother drive away. She hesitantly turned back around, facing what she has always dreaded the most. North Riley High School. Those four words, make her shiver in fear. No, it's not her grades that's always on her mind. She's probably one of the smartest kids you'll ever meet. Grade Average, 4.0. That's amazing, let me tell you. The only thing that makes her hate this place is, yes, the fellow high schoolers that walk the halls with her. They physically and mentally hurt her, with their words, and fists.
