Café Store

02:32
Café Store image communication project The concept Brands and consumers relations are changing. Brands are losing the control over the communication towards their consumers, therefore there can be only one way: building loyalty. Café is a brand like anything else. On the communication market the competition is hard as everywhere else. So it is important for us to differentiate ourselves and to have loyal, Café fan people around us. The only question is: how can we achieve it? Our consumers are Café employees and partners, clients, suppliers - everybody with whom we are in contact every day. This means that we communicate with professionals, who know how to do that. We are dealing with brands and communication, we help our clients to sell - we have to prove that we know how to do that. We aimed at a physical brand that may be held in your hand, or may give more, may be loved. We created a store, where self-designed products are sold, where our designers can create products for us and to their hearts content.

How Social Media Leads to Brand Evangelists - SEO Inc.

02:18
Website: http://www.seoinc.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/seoinc Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/search.engine.optimization.inc There are many benefits to social media marketing. In fact, the list of social media marketing benefits grows everyday. This presentation focuses on how social media marketing leads to brand evangelists. The presentation describes the process of a customer going from knowing nothing about your brand, all the way to becoming your biggest fan and doing your marketing for you. So how does social media marketing lead to brand evangelism. Well, image you are on Facebook and you notice that one of your friends "likes" a post. This peaks your interest right? After some time you realize that your friend really likes this company, so eventually you like the company too. After some time getting messages and content from this company via social media you finally decide to make your first purchase. Assuming everything goes well and you remain a member of the community, you are eventually going to become a regular purchaser. After sometime you begin to really connect with the company and appreciate the content they create. Eventually you become a market maven or evangelist. When they come out with a new product you like it and tell your friends about it. This is how social media works. It turns people who know nothing about your product into your biggest fans who eventually do your marketing for you.

How to Install Ledges and Shelves at Home | Pottery Barn

02:48
One of the best ways to create more space in your home is by adding ledges and shelves. They can serve the dual purpose of creating more space and adding extra décor to the surroundings. This home decor video demonstrates in easy steps how to install ledges and shelves at home. There are a few things to keep in mind while installing ledges and shelves. Choosing the ideal location that enhances the home décor and creates a functional space in the room is the first step in installing shelves and ledges. Some of the tools required for installing shelves and ledges include wall mounting brackets, a bubble level channel, a screw driver, a measuring tape, toggle studs, pencils, and some mounting studs. It is important to check the correct alignment of the shelf with the help of a bubble level channel. Once the alignment is correct, mark the positions with a pencil and drill holes before mounting the wall brackets. Place the ledges and shelves to fit the wall mounts perfectly before placing objects on them. Did you use this video to install your ledges and shelves? Let us know how it went in the comments. Diesel | Sneakers - Assland, A world of asses worth kicking

01:53
The image of Diesel has always been filled with attitude, rebellion and kick-ass-mentality. So when launching this new line of sneakers what other concept could fit better than to communicate ass-kicking engineering at it´s finest? The target are urban-punk-bohemian-fashionistas. The sneaker falls into the same product category as the classic Converse All-Star but the image of Diesel is the differentiator. The advert presents a place with injustice, arrogance, greed (kickable characters) and presents a solution. A classic "us and them"-theme and urges the viewer to mobilize. Be sure to hit "Like" it if you do! Hit something else if you don´t! Here´s the sneaker in "action": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIR9xV-zYow

Vanity Girl: Broadway

11:44
(Level: Pro/Salon / General) For so many months I have been holding off on getting a Vanity Girl mirror, because my old loft doesn't not allow much of space for one. Now that I am at a new place, with a room just for makeup, I made sure I have space for a Vanity Girl. I have seen videos online on how they rave about their Vanity Girl, and all I can do was drool and kept saying someday... I know its of great quality and made in the USA. But will it do well with what I really need a Vanity Mirror for? We'll see... My good friend Maxine, the owner of Vanity Girl has been asking me for months when I'm going to own one, and I kept telling her when I have space for it. Now that I do... Happy Holidays to ME! :) In this video I pointed out important key things from packaging, to assembly, and how the lighting look for application and filming, and where I see these vanities ideally. Note that there are 2 kinds of mirror, and this one is for the Broadway. For the standard mirror, search Youtube for those who already reviewed it. EnJoy! ABSOLUT & Spike Jonze Collaboration - "I'm Here" Film Trailer

01:01
SPIKE JONZES ROBOT LOVE STORY A CREATIVE COLLABORATION WITH ABSOLUT VODKA ABSOLUT and Spike Jonze Premiere Iʼm Here at Sundance Film Festival Acclaimed filmmaker Spike Jonze premieres his latest work Im Here, a 30-minute short film today at the Sundance Film Festival as part of the first-ever Opening Nights Shorts Program at the festival. The film is a collaboration with ABSOLUT VODKA, and the partnership acknowledges the brands position as a pioneering and culture-shaping brand. ABSOLUT has always stood out in the marketplace as a groundbreaking company that has been supporting artists for decades. Previous collaborations include those with Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Helmut Newton. Im Here honors the brands history while embarking on a new and innovative alliance with one of todays most original filmmakers. The film came about when ABSOLUT reached out to Jonze to make a film, and gave him creative control to create the film he wanted. It was a pretty incredible opportunity, says Jonze. They (ABSOLUT) didnt give me any requirements to make a movie that had anything to do with vodka. They just wanted me to make something that was important to me, and let my imagination take me wherever I wanted. And it wasnt like working with some huge corporation where I had to meet with committees of people. It was just a small group, and it seemed like creativity and making something that affected them emotionally was the only thing that really mattered to them. I got to make my first love story. Its about the relationship between two robots living in Los Angeles. Im Here will also screen at the Berlin Film Festival in February, followed by a global release in March on www.imheremovie.com. View the teaser trailer at the official film site www.imheremovie.com. Since its inception, ABSOLUT VODKA has been driven by creativity, and together with Spike Jonze we set a new standard for creative collaborations, says Anna Malmhake, Vice President Global Marketing at The Absolut Company. Spike Jonze is one of the most important influencers of modern popular culture, and this 30-minute film subtly and artfully expresses our enduring commitment to collaborations and creativity. Im Here, a 30-minute short film by Spike Jonze. Featuring Andrew Garfield and Sienna Guillory in the lead roles. The soundtrack includes original music by Sam Spiegel and original songs by L.A.-based art musician Aska Matsumiya and other emerging musicians. From bags to straps, Ciesta provides a variety of high-quality camera accessories

The brand name Ciesta comes from the word 'siesta', which refers to the practice of taking a nap after lunch in Latin America or in Mediterranean countries such as Greece and Italy. As the term's signifies, the company aspires to emphasize comfort and essentiality in their products. In 2006, Ciesta produces its first high-quality canvas camera bag CSB1746, followed by unique camera accessories different from existing products. New vs Old Room Fire Final UL

05:59
This video, made by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Testing) shows the danger of "modern" fires compared to the danger of fires occuring 40 years ago. Keep your eye on the clock! The room on the left is furnished with old fashioned furnishings, made mostly with natural materials (wood, cotton, wool, silk, etc). The room on the right is furnished with stuff made largely with synthetic material. Most synthetics are petroleum based. Think of them as frozen gasoline. The legacy room fire is just begining to really spread at the time the modern room is burning from floor to ceiling. Even the air is burning! Think about this next time somone tells you that "response time" will only be slightly increased. If you or a loved one is in the fire apartment or house, a slight increase is NOT acceptable. Please pass this along to everyone you know that lives in NYC. The Mayor seems not to understand the meaning of "essential service".

Segment 5 - Mission, Vision and Branding.mp4

MISSION -- VISION -- BRANDING and IMAGE By Patrick Dengel Each business should have three basic elements -- MISSION STATEMENT, VISION STATEMENT and THE BRANDING or IMAGE that the business wishes to portray in the public world. A mission statement represents the purpose that the business carries forth its operations. Primarily....Why does it exist? What is its purpose? What does it do? And what is the direction the business is going. If anything, it is a matter of fact statement about the business or organization. A Mission Statement is not a slogan but gives a good description of the business. In regards to the VISION Statement, it is a way of keeping all to pay attention to the critical objective of that business or organization. It is the reaching toward the business or organizations' fullest potential and keeping the motivated and inspired. It can be the emotional application that drives the business. The Branding or the image is the visual, emotional, rational and cultural image associated with a company or product. It is the organization's illustration of what it stands for and often based on the public's perception of how that business or organization has followed through with the Mission and Vision Statement. Images and Branding have fullest established a drawn image through signs, colors, images and key words. Successful companies have spent much time and money on establishing their Branding. It should also be noted that Branding of Products and Branding of Services are two different aspects of a successful business. BRANDING OF PRODUCTS IS EASIER THAN SERVICE. Once products have been established and public confidence and trust has been established, it will take a lot to dissuade the general public from the ascertained image. Likewise, the opposite is true. If the public sees the product poorly, it will take much time, effort and expense in overcoming public views. The Branding of a Service can lose its image quickly because services are usually performed by employees. Employees are a business's best assets or its worst liabilities because they represent the business or organizations' Mission and Vision. Depending on the style of Management, on the new employee training and during the daily operations, depends on whether employees continue to follow the Mission and Vision. Missions, Visions and Branding should be looked at, should change as needed and should be discussed, but employees should know their Mission, Know their Vision and understand what their Branding Image is. A Business owner should be able to go to its youngest to oldest employees and ask what each (3) are. Some will know it by heart and some will paraphrase, but if those who do not know, then who is at fault. Let me make one final point about Mission, Vision and Branding Statements. The more complex the Mission statement (I have seen 2 pages of Mission Statements on one organization), or the more general the vision statement and the more unaware of what the Branding or Image really is by employees, the less successful that business will be because they are continually trying to find themselves.

Curtains for Passive Solar and Draft Control

A simple way to save on heating and cooling expenses is to adjust your curtains to allow solar heating in when it helps and keep it out when it doesn't. You can also use your curtains to control drafts created by temperature differences between window surfaces and the room.

Lenovo uses augmented reality deeply rooted in innovation and brand marketing success. How consumers and brands interact in more depth has been the objective of all business owners. In the networked digital era, the digital marketing applications are increasingly diverse. The use of D'Fusion Augmented Reality Technology for Thinkpad notebooks black series brand image brings network into customers' lives, resulting in near-zero distance of brand experience. In the absence of strong advocacy, the website attracted 400,000 visits at the first day of being launched.

NECN's Dream House: J. Schwartz Design

07:31
Transformation: Bringing an Old Seaside Bungalow Back to Life. In the spring of 2007, Jeff Schwartz, who has had a home in southern Maine for 24 years, was approached about a neglected old bungalow on a very special piece of land. The prior owners were four siblings and their spouses and, as is often the case, these people from different parts of the country and with different life priorities could not agree on how to care for and maintain this tired old bungalow they had inherited from their parents. Further, the house had served as a coast guard barracks in the Second World War and in no way took advantage of the beautiful site and surroundings. It was overgrown, dark and cramped on the inside and had fallen into general disrepair. All of the improvements made over the years were piecemeal and not in harmony in any way. The siblings, seeing the handwriting on the wall, decided to sell. Jeff and his wife, Nancy Moss, a public relations executive, bought it with a vision of what it could be. They would honor the modest bungalow genes of the house and its relationship to its neighboring dwellings, while making it truly wonderful and every bit their own. Transforming it without tearing it down. Jeff and Nancy had four key goals for the modest house (approximately 2800 SF with the addition of a rear roof dormer and some strategic bump-outs) and the site: - It should look from the outside like it had always been there, sit well on the site and complement its neighbors. - It should meet their lifestyle needs. They are empty nesters whom enjoy the seaside year round while hosting guests throughout the summer. Every part of the house should be used. All of the spaces should seduce you into entering and enjoying them. - It should be surprising and wonderful with beautiful natural light within, with nooks and built-ins and materials indigenous to the Maine coast. - It should bring the seacoast and the neighboring architecture indoors in unexpected ways and be enjoyed four seasons of the year. Design and planning work commenced in 2007 and continued through the fall of 2008, when final design plans were submitted to and approved by the local Coastal Commission. The house was gut renovated and now is on a new chapter of a new life, completed May of 2009. The owner Jeff Schwartz's company is called J. Schwartz Design. You can call him at (617) 584-1295 or find him on the web at www.jschwartzdesign.net
