Hello Mike Mickey(sp?),
Since you are the one uploading these videos on behalf of the people without cameras; then can you please forward this response to "Brother Todd"? I do not require a video response, unless it is from "Brother Todd" himself. Oh, and I noticed that he was holding the KJ study bible(which comes with commentary). I can translate some of the Hebrew or Greek for him if need be to better help him discern what the book says.
I entreat you, Todd and anyone else to read each book mentioned in its entirety. And please do not cherry-pick what only sounds pleasing to you.
Who is the father of Joseph?
MAT 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
LUK 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.
Did those with Saul/Paul at his conversion hear a voice?
ACT 9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
ACT 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
Was there different languages or not?
Gen 10:5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
Gen 10:20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
Gen 10:31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
Gen 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
Video that this is in response to:
This is not mentioned in the video but since I was on the subject of the lineage of jesus; I figured that I would add a fourth contradiction.
god said thru Nathan, that the messiah would come through the [seed] of David (2 Samuel 7:12-14) which is later reiterated in (Acts 2:29-30), and (Acts 13:22-23).
Now since both contradictory genealogies listed in Mathew and Luke are supposed to be that of Joseph, and because Jewish tradition/law dictates that "tribal identification" only comes from the fathers side. And as Joseph was not the biological father of jesus[virgin birth remember ;O)], we have another clear contradiction.
And while I am partially on the subject of the Nativity... ;O)
I will list yet another contradiction/errency found in the new testament:
"The Census of Quirinius" which was taken by Quirinius after he became governor of Syria due to the banishment of "Herod Archelaus"; son of king Herod. Which is confirmed/recorded by Josephus(a Jewish historian) in 6-7 A.D. Ultimately proving/confirming that "Herod the great" died 10 years before the fabled jesus was born, disproving the biblical account, and contradicting the fictional gods characters prediction as detailed in Matt 2:12-15
All of which is better described(to a order of magnitude) in the following videos:
And since I am on the subject of the jesus character; I will list yet another contradiction/errency found in the new testament:
The jesus character departs/ascends to heaven the same day(in the evening) he had risen from the dead as detailed in Luke 24:1-53
Which is clearly contradicted in Acts 1:1-26(Acts 1:3 in particular) where the jesus character stays among the 11 apostles for forty days.
And then there is the contradiction of how the remaining 11 apostles received the holy spirit/ghost. ;O)
John 2o:21-23 which contradicts Acts 2:1-4
Here are some direct biblical errors:
Matt 4:8 Since there is no spot on the spheroid earth to [view all kingdoms] we see that the bible errs here.
John 12:21 Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee... The clear error here lies in the fact that Bethsaida actually reside in Gaulanitis(Golan region) which is east of the river Jordan; whereas Galliliee resides west of the river Jordan.
Here are yet two other clear contradictions found in the bible but from the old testament this time:
What the fictional god character commands of Abraham in Genesis 22:1-2 clearly contradicts what it(god) said in Jeremiah 19:4-5.
Matthew 19:26 as opposed to Judges 1:19
Are all things possible by god of the bible or not?
2 Samuel 24 as opposed to 1 Chronicles 21
So who was it; god or satan that [moved] David to number(take a census) Israel?
There are technically 4 additional contradictions just within the pages of these two chapters, but I think that my point was made. ;O)
